Our road in next day of motorbike riding in Vietnam on the Ho Chi Minh routes is from Dong Hoi to Quang Binh. Riding around the bare hills, see the sabotage of Agent Orange which US soldiers sprayed in DMZ. I recommend you should stop at some historical vestiges such as Vinh Moc tunnel, Hien Luong bridge, etc. Because you not only can have a beautiful view here but also can get wider knowledge about the severe years of Vietnamese.
Take a break at Khe Sanh and stay overnight at a local hotel here.
